Cat Pics

A few pictures of Yuli:

The Cat Wrestling With the North Face.

The Cat Toying With a Ball of Paper On a Rug I Should Have Cleaned Before Taking This Photo.

The Cat Ruining a Good Game of Spider.

And that's about it, really. I could tell a story about the bureaucracy I went through to reapply for my ID card this morning. But frankly, any public university in America would give you a bigger hassle than the passport/licha karta people. Nothing, but nothing, beats the stuff I had to go through on hot summer days in Murphy Hall at UCLA. Those memories make the red tape here a little easier and more enjoyable to cut through. Small comfort, I know, but it keeps me going.

Hello Rob,

is it a dial-up internet connection from your home in Silistra? is your mobile (on the table behind the cat/computer) on the MobilTel network? how is the coverage around there? does your mobile provider offer a data connection over the mobile channel there in Silistra?

i work on mobile networks and have done so in Sofia for MobilTel in the past-- hence the nerdy questions.

by the way, i have enjoyed reading your blog.

Ah, so I wasn't the only one who absolutely hated the garbage from UCLA. Those "kind people" made everything ten times more difficult than they needed to be. Owen, you have to be a persistent bugger to get what you want from them.

I can't believe you went and said the "M" word. Those kind people still haven't give me my diploma.

Hi Rob,
What is it with cats and computers? When sitting at mine my Roxy loves to get in the way-- wants my full attention.
Enjoy all the kitten antics because as she gets older she will be more sophisticated about her attentions and will sleep ~18 hours a day.
Paper bags and boxes are fun for kittens but be careful about her swallowing strings-- they can get stuck and tie up the intestines.
Yule looks so intelligent taking over your keyboard.
